Accurate localization and activation of each muscle is critical to ensure reliable recording during needle EMG. This program provides a digital manual to teach identification, methods of activation, and potential pitfalls that may occur during needle examination of individual muscles. The program consists of individual videos of Dr. Jasper Daube teaching and demonstrating the general method of needle EMG as well as how to examine each muscle. Included are detailed illustrations of each muscle, including their relationship to neighboring muscles, the innervation of the muscle, a description of methods of activation, and potential problems.
