Interactive Product: The Basics of NCS and EMG Coding
Overview
The Basics of NCS and EMG Coding Interactive program consists of everything you need to know to properly code for NCS and EMG studies along with two case studies to provide real life examples. Each case will provide patient history, sample EMG/NCS reports, and diagnosis to give you all of the information you need to select the correct codes.

Objectives:
After using the Basics of NCS and EMG Coding Interactive program, users will be able to:
• Differentiate between needle EMG codes and when each should be used
• Correctly identify nerves and nerve segments can be counted when billing using Appendix J
• Identify which NCS code to use based on nerves tested
• Recognize some common coding pitfalls
