Objectives: Readers will acquire skills to: (1) Discuss palliative care with patients and develop plans for a multidisciplinary palliative care team, (2) manage the limitations of mobility, breathing, swallowing, and nutrition in patients receiving palliative care, (3) implement pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of physical and psychological needs of palliative care patients, and (4) guide palliative care patients in understanding advance care planning.
