Performance in Practice: Ulnar Neuropathy
Performance in Practice: Ulnar Neuropathy
AANEM Performance in Practice (PIP) activities are pre-packaged modules that guide you through a long-term quality improvement exercise applicable to your practice. The Ulnar Neuropathy PIP was authored by leading experts in the fields of NM and EDX Medicine and will guide you through applying best practices in the electrodiagnosis of ulnar neuropathy.

The PIP implementation period (Stage 2) must be at least 30 days in duration and not exceed 2 years. AANEM PIPs include both a Clinical and Feedback Module; only the Clinical Module is designated for CME. Each module is structured into three stages: 1) An initial review of performance; 2) a performance improvement implementation period; and 3) a reassessment of performance. The AANEM will report PIP completion to ABPN and ABPMR on your behalf.

No one involved in the planning of this CME activity had relevant financial relationships to disclose. Authors had nothing to disclose.

The AANEM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The AANEM designates this Performance Improvement Continuing Medical Education (PI CME) activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The Ulnar Neuropathy PIP has been approved for PIP credit by ABPN and ABPMR and is designed to help you meet Part IV Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements. ABPMR diplomates may fulfill the PIP requirement by completing the Clinical Module of the Ulnar Neuropathy PIP. ABPN diplomates enrolled in MOC may fulfill the PIP requirement by completing either the Clinical Module or the Feedback Module.
