Teachable Moment: Conduction Block in Hereditary Neuropathies
Overview
New Members-Only CME!

Our new teachable moment series covers a range of different neuromuscular medicine topics in short videos. Catch up or relearn important neuromuscular medicine lessons with these videos we will release throughout the year.

Test your knowledge with this challenging case. A sporadic, slowly progressive demyelinating neuropathy, with conduction blocks and very slow conduction velocities.

OBJECTIVES: 1) Identify unusual nerve conduction findings that can occur in hereditary neuropathies, including conduction block and non-uniform conduction slowing; 2) interpret nerve conduction studies showing features such as prolonged distal latency, conduction block, reduced conduction velocities, and temporal dispersion.
