Our new teachable moment series covers a range of different neuromuscular medicine topics in short videos. Catch up or relearn important neuromuscular medicine lessons with these videos we will release throughout the year. Follow along with Dr. Alcantara as she reviews some pearls and pitfalls of nerve conduction studies in the upper limbs. 


Objective: Learners will be able to correctly perform and interpret upper limb sensory nerve conduction studies by: 1) using proper limb positioning, 2) setting appropriate stimulus intensity, 3) recognizing common recording artifacts and 4) making necessary adjustments when problems occur.

The AANEM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
