Watch AANEM Board members Ghazala Hayat, MD and Ileana Howard, MD along with our Muscle & Nerve Editor Zachary Simmons, MD, in this webinar recording where they discuss how to use telehealth during the pandemic. Dr. Hayat, professor of Neuromuscular Diseases in the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine will discuss how to maintain services for patients with neuromuscular disorders during these challenging times due to limitations of face to face patient interactions.

Dr. Howard, associate professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington practicing at the VA Puget Sound in Seattle, will speak from her experience over the past 5 years providing physiatric services by telehealth on numerous platforms. The advantages and limitations of clinical video telehealth, as well as the opportunities and challenges to sustain telehealth as an important part of an inclusive clinical practice, will also be addressed. 

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT: The AANEM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
