- Hand Weakness and Atrophy: A Rare Condition With Distinctive EDX Findings is an advanced level case study, appropriate for residents, fellows and practicing physicians. Presenting symptoms in this case study include right-hand weakness and atrophy. Upon completion of this case study, participants will acquire skills to:
1) Formulate a differential diagnosis for unilateral hand weakness and atrophy
2) Identify the classic clinical presentation of true neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome (TN-TOS)
3) Describe the characteristic electrodiagnostic findings of TN-TOS
4) Name the causes of TN-TOS
