Description
The product is a digital (phone, table or PC) educational program that will be used to assist in the training and understanding of the techniques and findings of nerve conduction studies (NCS) in the evaluation of patients with neuromuscular disorder. Nerve conduction studies are an important component of a neuromuscular electrodiagnostic test, and help to determine the presence, type, and severity of neuromuscular disorder. The program in an interactive digital education program with several sections, including:
• Concepts of nerve conduction studies
• Individual nerve demonstrations (including setup pictures, video description, written details of the technique, pitfalls, and utility for each nerve)
• Videos and pictures describing features of NCS waveform interpretation
• Examples of a variety of normal and abnormal NCS waveform findings, with descriptions and educational points related to each image
• Tables of setup techniques and reference values based on those techniques
• Quizzes to test understanding of the concepts of NCS

The user will be able to navigate within and between each section to best learn the various aspects of NCS performance and interpretation. The goal of the program is to assist the user to more accurately perform and interpret NCS.
