Information
There are new DEA license requirements in the new Medication Access and Training (MATE) Act that was passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.

• All DEA-registered practitioners are responsible for satisfying a new, one-time, 8 hour training requirement on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.

• Beginning June 27, 2023, practitioners must have completed the one-time education requirement before applying for a DEA license for the first time or to have their DEA license renewed
