Pdf Summary
Unusual sensory conduction studies are important for evaluating peripheral nerve lesions involving sensory nerves. These studies help localize injuries and differentiate root from plexus lesions. Different techniques for diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) using electrodiagnostic studies were discussed, including measuring latency differences between nerves and a proposed combined sensory index (CSI). Further research is recommended for these methods.
